The Tejon Indian casino project has been federally approved under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act. Hard Rock International is owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida.
In June 2019 the Tejon Indian Tribe signed an agreement with Hard Rock International to develop and manage a new Hard Rock hotel and casino on Tejon reservation land south of Bakersfield.
